A new survey by Lake Research Partners of likely voters across four of the nation’s largest cities – including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco – shows very strong support for raising the minimum wage over a period of several years for all workers, including tipped workers, to a living wage of $30 an hour.

Looking at the data for Los Angeles alone: a majority of Los Angeles voters (58%) support the $30 minimum wage for all workers, including tipped workers 1 , by a whopping margin of +32 points. Four in ten support it strongly (41%).
