One Fair Wage is moving legislation and ballot measures in 25 states to raise wages and end subminimum wages for millions of workers – and mobilize millions to vote in the process – by the United States’ 250th Anniversary (2026).
The service sector is going through massive upheaval – millions of workers are refusing to work for subminimum wages, and thousands of responsible restaurants and other businesses are raising wages to recruit and retain staff – but all need policy change to support these efforts, create a level playing field, and signal to millions of workers that it is worth coming back to work.
